Dr Katie Jones graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and subsequently completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2015. She undertook her residency years in Sunshine Coast, rotating through various medical and surgical specialties before embarking as a locum medical registrar. At this time she worked in many different regional and rural hospitals across Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania for almost three years.

Dr Jones is interested in all aspects of General Practice, particularly Adult Medicine and Chronic Disease. Outside of work, she enjoys music, reading, sports and being active in the outdoors.
